To complete the RU Human Subjects Training, go to http://webct6.radford.edu , then:

1.    Click on the "Course List" button

2.    Select "Uncategorized"

3.    Click the arrow next to "Departmental"

4.    Near the end of the list you will find "IRB and ACUC"

5.    Click on the symbol to the right of the IRB and ACUC label (it looks like a person with a green + over the shoulder)

6.    The system will inform you that you are registering for IRB and ACUC as a student

7.    Click "Register"

8.    You will find the IRB and ACUC course available within your Blackboard browser

9.    If you cannot register the first time, you may need to go through the steps above one more time

10.  If you still cannot register, please contact the RU IRB Coordinator.

Read/study the material under Course Content on Radford University Human Subjects Training.

Then click on the Assessments tab on the upper left (if only the symbols are visible, it is the symbol with a clock on it, OR click on the two vertical bars with an arrow symbol at the top and bottom to expand the list of choices so you can see the words).

Click on the title of the quiz (Radford University Human Subject Protections Training Quiz).  Read the instructions.  Click on Begin Assessment (at the bottom of the instructions).

• For each question, click on the appropriate answer.
• Then click on Save and View Next (if you just hit Next Question, it will not record your answer).
• When you have answered all 10 questions, check to see that there is a check mark for each question on the Question Status column to the right.
• Click on Finish
• To see what your score was, click on View All Submissions at the top of the Assessments section.
• If you scored a 70 or higher you’re gold. Otherwise, take it again until you do.

Now, click on My Grades in the Course Tools column on the left (if only the symbols are visible, it is the yellow symbol with an A on it, OR click on the two vertical bars with an arrow symbol at the top and bottom to expand the list of choices so you can see the words).

• Shrink the Course Tools column on the left, then PRINT this page from the File menu (do Print Preview), and then turn it in to earn the points for this assignment.
